Rescue company operations vary from fire department to fire
department. Many fire departments do not even have a designated
rescue company. Many of the functions that rescue companies
carry out are normally done by engine or ladder companies. We
will try and focus on some specific skills in this section that are
commonly done by rescue companies. Some of our primary focus
will include search and rescue and forcible entry. However we
